Craigie House

Our songwriting workshop will take place in the beautiful and historic Craigie House, nestled within the peaceful grounds of Craigie Estate in Ayr.

Surrounded by lush greenery, walking paths, and the gentle flow of the River Ayr, the venue offers a calm, inspiring backdrop perfect for creative work and reflection. Inside, you’ll find cozy, welcoming spaces with plenty of natural light — ideal for writing, sharing, and connecting.

It’s easily accessible from the town centre, with parking on-site and public transport links nearby. Whether you’re local to Ayr or coming from further afield, Craigie House offers a quiet retreat that invites you to slow down, tune in, and let your songwriting voice come through.

The venue is accessible by public transport,

with nearby bus stops including Craigie House and Ayr Cemetery,

both within a 6-minute walk.

These stops are serviced by several bus lines, such as the S3, 42, 42A, X42, 1, and 302, providing convenient connections throughout the area.

For those traveling by train, Newton-on-Ayr station is approximately a 6-minute walk from the venue, offering easy access via the ScotRail network.

While Craigie House is a historic building, it has been thoughtfully adapted to ensure accessibility. The upper floors are accessible by lift, and the ground floor, including lounges and dining areas, is easily reachable, providing access to beautifully landscaped garden areas.

Whether you're arriving by public transport or on foot, Craigie House offers a welcoming and accessible environment for all participants.
